He was left out of the most recent squads over concerns about his fitness after injury, but he has scored five goals in Newcastle's last six games. Peter Crouch, another former Liverpool striker, was included in the squad Sunday , while Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips also made a return. Chelsea forward Joe Cole was left out after picking up a foot injury Sunday, while Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson is also missing. Liverpool's Steven Gerrard returns to the squad after injury, but David Bentley and Jimmy Bullard drop out.
