Republican election wizard had predicted landslide victory for Obama
Washington, Nov 5 ANI: Even as Democrat Barack Obama today registered a historic landslide victory with 338 votes against 155 to his rival John McCain, a leading Republican
election wizard in the US, who was instrumental in US President George Bush's two successive victories, had predicted a clearcut victory to Obama, even in the
states where the Democratic candidate led by only a slim margin.Karl Rove had predicted a landslide for Barack Obama, sweeping to victory with 338 electoral votes against the 270 he needs to win.If that happens, it would constitute the largest electoral
college victory since 1996, when
Bill Clinton defeated Bob Dole 379 to 159, reported the Daily Times. In an electoral
map posted on his
website, Rove predicted Obama victories in several
key battleground states, including almost
all the states where
polls show his advantage to be slim. Rove believed that Missouri was the only crucial battleground
state that McCain
will carry, while Obama will score victories in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New
Mexico, Minnesota, and Iowa. He had also predicted Obama will take Virginia, which has always been a Republican stronghold. ANI
